Using butns on Twitter, Facebook and other html-non-friendly places

We are currently working on a new service which will allow you to use
butns on sites such as Twitter and Facebook, and generally in any comment-field,
IM or email. When creating a butns hyperlink you will be given
the opportunity to use a link such as 'butns.com/238k1' which
directs you to a simple butns page containing the multiple
hyperlinks that you've defined.

Wordpress Plug-in on its way

Another news item: Quite some users have asked whether
butns can be easily integrated into blog-posts. Even though this
is actually already possible using the html-mode on many
blog-sites, we are working on making it even easier - by creating
a Wordpress plugin that allows you to insert butns links with a
simple click from within wordpress. It's almost done - stay tuned
for more news on this.

After the launch

A couple of weeks have now gone by, and after a bit of a slow
start things are starting to take off. Over the last few days the
butns video has been viewed more than 1000 times, and there has been a
lot of twitter activity. A review has been posted on killerstartups,
and we've been mentioned on quite a few blogs and sites. Great to see that everyone is receiving it so well.

Pitch feedback

After we've started pitching the idea to entrepeneurs and other viceguys we've actually only recieved positive and constructive feedback. Looking at everybody's comments they have been pretty much on the same issues. We've taken care on most of that stuff now and feel pretty confident that we have something unique here. Can't wait to see how the public will receive it :) It's gonna be a thrill.
Thanks to everyone for feedback.

Welcome to the Butns Blog

Hi there. It has been more than a year's work but we are finally close to finishing our project Butns.com. We've been through quite a lot of designing debates and programming hours, but it looks like it has been worth the effort - we're quite satisfied with the result. So far, we've been a little secretive about the project, but now that we're almost ready for a Beta launch, it is time to start making some noise about it. We'll be blogging a bit about our experiences prior to launch in the next weeks.
See you & thanks.
